“Yet Another Park” is an effort at documenting the construction, life, and eventual destruction of the Kowloon Walled City.

The Kowloon Walled City, a longtime fascination of mine, was an extremely overcrowded and completely ungoverned enclave within the city of Hong Kong. It held tens of thousands of refugees displaced from the Chinese Civil War, and was rife with crime and gang violence. It held dentist offices, hair salons, restaurants, temples and even a slaughterhouse. Despite the crime, it was also home for many, and within many homes come moments of happiness, comfort and peace.

The cassette, featuring a black and white J-Card and varying colored tape, is housed in a yellow replica slip-case model of the city that separates, so you can display the model if you like.
